A new day

A new day, bright, cold, fresh, what do we do with today? Do we do what we want or what GOD wants? How do we know what GOD wants us to do........ in the Bible it says to pray and seek His direction. GOD will let us know what he wants, we just have to be willing to do what he wants. Hearing and listening to the Holy Spirit.
Hum.... Look to the LORD for He is Great!

Happy New Year 2010- A New Decade....

Psalm 67: 5-7
May the peoples praise you, O God;
may all the peoples praise you.
Then the land will yield its harvest,
and God, our God, will bless us.
God will bless us,
and all the ends of the earth will fear Him.

He is our only hope for eternal life and security.
Psalm 23

Everything belongs to God.

God moves in our lives

Ya know, there are times when I just move about in what I think is MY daily routine and then I remember, God orchestrates all things! He is so loving, and provides for us no matter what. It may not be what we want, or think we deserve but He knows what is best for us. And when we turn everything over to him and when we pray to Him and lift our arms up, open our hearts and receive the Holy Spirit having ears to hear what it is God wants us to do .................. miracles happen........ miracles happen ............doors close ..... doors open up .... things change......our lives sometimes get turned upside down........... but still God knows what He's doing ........... if we stay focused, have FAITH and OBEY his Word in the Bible we will be Blessed and we will be Blessing HIM!!

John 4:23 (New International Version)
23Yet a time is coming and has now come when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshipers the Father seeks.

Throw Down the Stones—Let the Rocks Drop!

From: The Servant - March 2009By: Pastor Wes Wingo

“I can’t go to church, it’s full of hypocrites,” is a statement often heard and said. But have you really considered what it means to be a “hypocrite”?
The harshest words spoken by Jesus were directed toward hypocrites—legalistic, religious leaders of the day (Matthew 23). He rebuked these men for being prideful and focused on rules, appearance, titles and position. “Hypocrites! You are like whitewashed tombs” He said, “—beautiful on the outside but filled on the inside with dead people’s bones and all sorts of impurity . . .” (Matthew 23:27, NLT).
Immediately after that strong statement, scripture tells us Jesus grieved over His people, saying, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the city that kills the prophets and stones God’s messengers! How often I have wanted to gather your children together as a hen protects her chicks beneath her wings, but you wouldn’t let me” (verse 37).
In other words, the Lord loved and wanted to help these hypocrites. All it would have taken was a willingness on their part to allow Him to do so. The same is true for every person today. Humility will get us everywhere with God. No doubt there are hypocrites in churches, just like there are liars, murderers, back-biters, adulterers, covetous people . . . SINNERS in churches! Why is that so? Because sinners live among us — they are us! The Church actually is a hospital for sinners.
Christians are not called to judge others. The Lord made that plain enough when He addressed the crowd gathered to enforce the law and kill a woman caught in adultery. He said, “He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her” (John 8:7).
We need to throw down the stones. Let the rocks drop. And focus our attention on loving God and loving others. Church is all about coming together as the family of God, learning His Word and His ways, and providing support for each other as we grow in the Lord. Our church life should be the most rewarding and uplifting experience of each week. It should be a place that will help us overcome our weaknesses, and become healthy, spirit, soul and body. A consistent church life will strengthen us and help us stay on the right course.
Jesus said people would know we’re His disciples by our love for one another, not by our judgment of one another’s faults. Let’s not be robbed of this great gift as the family of God by being consumed with the flaws in others. None of us are perfect . . . only forgiven.

A New Day, Gift from God, the Present

Good Morning,
Today is a new day God has given us to do HIS work in and through Him if we listen to the Holy Spirit.

I'm learning that we cannot make more "time." The way we use our Time is so important! We can make more money (somehow). God gave us a gift today, the present. Join me in making today a happy, meaningful day, using our time wisely to bless the Lord.

When we obey His commands, miracles take place!

HIS Way Cafe is a miracle from God..... situations are aligning and it looks more and more like we are going to get the building we keep being drawn to.
We welcome your prayers, we are focused on God and hearing His words, obeying His commands, utilizing our "time" to bless Him.

Gal 6:9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.

Peace & Blessings,
Cindy

Stresses in Life

Everyone has stresses in life, even the Godliest people. We have more power over the consequence of the outcome than we think. In relationships of all kind, turning to God's word "Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry" (James 1:19) will automatically decrease the "assuming what the other person is thinking" because when we listen, really listen with God's compassion that he gives us, we will understand more about the situations of others. We all want it to be about "me" at times and just express ourselves with minimal breathes in between words. I've noticed that God is the best one to express endlessly to, for he will love us no matter what we say. After I talk to God, well sometimes it's not just talking, sometimes it's crying, complaining, wining, begging, praising, singing, then I'll go back to the person/persons and listen, even ask questions, to hear what is on their mind. I feel redirecting that person toward Jesus and His words will quickly provide a pause, a thinking moment. Now what happens next will depend on if this person is a Christ follower. If not a Christ follower than, we know what comes next, proclaim His name and share what Jesus has done for you. :-)
Just my thoughts, let me know what you do ......
